Hey, the new Top Gear wasn't that bad...

I mean budget Adam Savage was annoying, although less than I anticipated, but Matt was suprisingly good.

For a first episode it was okay, lets just hope it picks up after this.

The supercar segment in the beginning was below average, and the fake ‘laser guns’ were horrible, just like the whole scripted and weird chase they did.

The desert scene in the Ariel Nomad was okay, but I wonder how much of the driving Matt actually did , with all the action shots of drifts and jumps..

I did not enjoy the first part of the Reliant challenge, but it picked up in the second and third part. (The Drag, Drag and Drag race was pretty fun)

The race to the top was obviously scripted, but I liked it for what it is.

The thing that suprised me was the Star in a rally car, wich was pretty fun to watch but that obviously depends on the stars they have on.

I rate it a 6.5/10 , with a hope that they improve.

People are jumping on the hate train wayy too

It has some issues yeah, there was alot of audio mixing/loudness issues, and one transistion had a stupidly loud whine over it. I’m sure they’ll get settled into a decent show atleast. I think jenson button was on next time for the star in the car? That’s gonna be fun...

I didn’t mind the Viper vs. Vette segment, as someone finally had the cajones to speak their mind on the Vette. Granted Motortrend almost did, but they kind of danced around calling it shit.

Evans though, he needs some work. I didn’t mind him as the host, but his voice doesn’t go well with narrorating.

For sure there were things that could be pretty ok moving forward, I just wish the things I find horrible could disappear for the next episode.
